If you have a complaint about a leader or a group, we have some detailed guidance on what to do next so your concerns can be addressed.
We always suggest having a conversation with the Group Scout Leader first, who acts as the manager for the group. They'll be best placed to deal with your concerns, and it's likely they'll be able to do this quickly and informally.
If you feel that you can't discuss this matter with leaders at the group, or if they can't deal with your complaint, then the District Commissioner will be able to help. They manage all groups within an area.
Leaders at your group will be able to give you the right contact details. If you're not part of the group, please contact us and we'll be able to help you get in touch with the right person.
Where possible, please use our complaints template. This will make it quicker and easier for you and the person handling your complaint. You can find a copy in our guidance.
